Hair Transplant

Hair transplantation is a medical procedure in which follicular units are extracted from the occiput or temples and implanted in balding areas.

Hair transplant is not only for the head, but it can also intensify the eyebrows for women and men and regresses the beard for males.

The used techniques for hair transplants:

The DHI technique

DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) is a more improved variant of FUE. It is a method of operating with a single standard method that employs the same extraction method (one follicle at a time) as FUE.

This hair transplant procedure offers exceptional consistency in the implantation, allowing it to mimic natural implantation or replicate it. This is performed without cut: there are fewer open wounds, so you can be presentable sooner (from 7 to 10 days against 14 to 30 days for the other techniques). The survival rate of the follicles is critical. It does not affect the place where it has been implanted.

FUE:

The FUE procedure technique is on a different set of principles. The cosmetic surgeon removes the follicular units one at a time with a little drill no larger than a millimeter in diameter. Each excised follicular unit is re-implanted in less crowded locations. This procedure does not produce a linear scar, but it may produce a punctiform scar at the implantation site. The FUE procedure is best suited for mild baldness that requires fewer than 2,500 grafts to fill.

 Sapphire:

Unlike traditional hair transplantation, the sapphire technique is distinguished by its pen made of gemstone, which creates the channels in a triangular shape in an accurate and non-random manner, thus covering a large part of the baldness, which in turn leads to obtaining a high density.

How does a hair transplant procedure work?

A certain procedure must be followed to profit from the hair transplant.

You will first have a clinical diagnostic appointment. This initial contact will allow the doctor to ask you the critical questions needed to understand your hair loss and determine how long the condition has been happening. Your responses will thus lead to a professional diagnosis tailored to your specific situation.

During this same visit, images will be taken to provide further information about your hair problem. The examination can then provide you with options tailored to your specific situation and treatment that addresses the core issue.

Aftercare:

Follow the hair-washing steps correctly

Avoid using any products or creams not recommended by your doctor

Refrain from smoking for a month

You should consult your doctor if you are taking certain medications.
